Whitelock's & The Turk's Head
Come Sunday, sister bars Whitelock's and The Turk's Head join forces to serve up one hell of a Sunday lunch. They give you oodles of choice – there are three different cuts of meat, with a roasted nut & herb loaf for the veggies. They also pride themselves on the quality of their meat. Their roasted leg of lamb comes from Bridge Grange Farm, while their roast topside beef and loin of pork come from Yafforth Hill Farm. Prices range from £11.50 to £15, depending on what main you choose, and they all come with crispy roast potatoes, seasonal veg, a whacking great Yorkshire pudding and a jug of gravy.

And they all come on a plate that's absolutely loaded with seasonal vegetables, proper crispy roast potatoes, a massive Yorkshire pudding and as much gravy as you want.

Man v Roast
This one's a little bit different. Man v Roast is a carvery that prides itself on serving up quality meats. They source them from Sykes House Farm, so you know you're getting the best. But top quality doesn't mean hiked up prices – in fact, it's the very opposite here. They serve their food in takeout boxes, keeping prices low, so you can get a full roast dinner at this Leeds carvery from just £7. Choose from turkey, beef, gammon, pork, chicken and lamb and it'll come with all the trimmings. That's right, we're talking stuffing, veggies, mash, roasties and cauliflower cheese, with a big Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy.

You can even bag yourself a drink to wash it all down for a quid.

Whatever you choose, it'll come in at a cool £18. Veggie? They do a homemade nut roast, complete with porcini gravy, so you won't feel even a little left out (and it's cheaper at £15 too). Going all out? You can share a 500g Yorkshire Chateaubriand roast for two for £84. All their Sunday lunches come with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, glazed carrots, mixed greens and oodles of homemade gravy.
